Carrier hires hundreds of college students every year to complete co-op and internship assignments at many of our U.S. locations. These programs provide students an opportunity to apply their classroom education in a challenging and rewarding work assignment and learn about Carrier as a company. At the same time Carrier can get to know the people who may some day become full time employees.
Following are samples of types of positions we fill and the typical degree programs from which candidates apply. However, the list of positions and candidate backgrounds is far from complete:
- Design and Production Engineers (BSME, BSEE)
- Software Engineers (BSEE, BS Computer Science or Computer Engineering)
- Financial Analysts (BS Business Admin, Finance or Accounting)
- Marketing Analysts (BS Business Admin or Marketing)
- Human Resource Associates (BS Business Admin or HR Management)

Carrier also participates in the UTC INROADS program, which offers special internship opportunities for minorities. INROADS students typically spend two to four summers as interns with Carrier or other UTC divisions before graduation.
For more information on specific openings, right now, check the listings at your College Placement Office. If you want to apply for consideration, you may submit your resume. Please be sure to note on your cover letter or resume that you are interested in co-op or internship work.
